Yes, I am happy that they didn't just end up in a landfill. There's a positive side to everything and today, the world is shining a bit too brightly to not be smiling.
Just as we wish the bad times to pass, we need to remember that good times pass as well. Enjoy them before they are gone.

How peaceful a morning to be out and wandering through the woods next to a mighty river. I miss the Hudson River, but the Merrimack is here and often neglected. I found this park last year during the flooding of the river but never really got back to investigate it. Today I am and I am glad I stopped. Remember to sometimes stray of the path of the known and wander into new domains to discover hidden treasures.

Our little trooper was a fireman for Truck or Treating. He isn't able to make it to many houses, but each visit is a treasure in itself. He introduced himself to one neighbour as "the TV star." yeah, I think it's time to bring him back to reality.

Not to make you all even hungrier, but for a frozen pie, Marie Callender's Wild Blueberry Pie is pretty darned good!
I like to make my own pies and will rarely eat any other apple pie than my own (I like it that much!) but after seeing Barack Obama last week talk about he loves pie, I came home thinking of pie and craving pie. Not in the mood to make a mess baking my own pie, I figured I would give a frozen pie a chance.
This pie comes uncooked and frozen, so the first thing that I hadn't planned on was the cooking time. It takes an hour to cook and then has to cool for some time. Cooked blueberries are extremely hot! Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this pie is very good!
I don't know if you have this brand where you live, but if you do and you find yourself craving pie, go for it! Just remember the time it takes to prepare.
